As a Superintendent, you will be expected to model company values and to supervise union bargaining employee resources effectively and efficiently. Superintendents are responsible for scheduling, coordinating and supervising union craft employee activities, and training. This may involve supervising one or more trade groups on the project sites. An ability to clearly communicate both oral and written with craft, managers, customers, and vendors is a key responsibility for this position. You will work closely with your construction Managers regarding all project activities. The PULSE Complex is an underground nuclear facility located within the Forward Areas of the Nevada National Security Site that supports Subcritical Experiments performed by the Nuclear Weapons Laboratories. PULSE is currently being upgraded. The upgrades include a wide array of new systems (fire detection and alarm, fire extinguishing, cooling, electrical, ventilation) that are required for facility operation. |   | Key Responsibilities | - Responsible for maintaining overall cognizance of assigned facility systems, providing cognizant system engineering support for operations and maintenance, and technical support of line management safety responsibilities for ensuring continued system operational readiness. Systems may include containment systems, fire detection & alarm, fire barrier systems, electrical, cooling, and ventilation.  Other systems may be assigned as needed. | - Participate in validating physical configuration of assigned systems.
