The Enhanced Capabilities for Subcritical Experiments (ECSE) Program is an overarching program that encompasses the fundamental elements necessary to carry out the Stockpile Stewardship Program mission in a new facility with new state-of-the-art diagnostics. One of the major diagnostics being developed by the Advanced Sources and Detectors (ASD) project is a 4-pulse, 20+MeV linear induction accelerator (called Scorpius) and a multi-frame imaging system following the DOE O 413.3B process. This position is for a Program Manager II to serve as Senior Team Lead (STL) representing the NNSS and work with the LANL ASD Project Office and partner site STLs, Technical Leads and Control Account Managers to design, deliver and commission this Major Item of Equipment (MIE, Scorpius). The STL works for the NNSS ECSE Program and supports the LANL ASD Project Office under the ASD Project Director and ASD Project Manager. Internally, the STL will report directly to the ECSE Program Manager within the Stockpile Experimentation & Operations (SEO) Programs directorate. This includes interfacing with the U1a Complex Enhancements Projects (UCEP) and their integration with Advance Sources and Detectors (ASD). |   | The STL is principally responsible for overall execution of ASD and integration of scope at the NNSS. The STL has oversight and directs the work of assigned CAMs, which are responsible for the scope, cost and schedule of their respective control accounts.
