  • Qualifications

    Due to the nature of our work, US Citizenship is required for all positions.

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 2 years of professional level experience.
    • Must have experience with either maintenance or construction and have a general knowledge of what type of work different tradesmen perform.
    • Experience with business software applications such as MS Word, Excel, and other Office tools.
    • Must be able to work effectively in a team environment with minimal supervision.
    • Effective written and oral communication skills and the ability to interface with all levels of management and internal and external customers is essential.
    • Must have strong computer skills, organizational skills, and be able to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
    • Knowledge of basic math, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
    • Ability to cope with conflicting deadlines, frequent interruptions, and multiple tasks.
    • Schedule will be 4/10s.
    • Pre-placement physical examination, which includes a drug screen, is required. MSTS maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing.
    • Must have a valid driver's license.

    Perform the duties of the Customer Service Representative.  This position requires an understanding of corrective and preventive maintenance, and knowledge of codes and regulations regarding maintenance activities, the ability to process various levels of requests from simple routine tasks, complex urgent repairs on various types of equipment and in various types of facilities (including nuclear facilities).  Make accurate decisions in determining priorities and type of maintenance work based on experience, training, and company procedures.


    Key Responsibilities


    Duties include, but are not limited to:

    • Support/assist customers on the submission/receipt of work requests.
    • Assist requester in providing appropriate detail for scope of work definition to ensure correct prioritization and effective planning.
    • Route, analyze, and determine appropriate level of work request.
    • Determine appropriate funding source and provide charge number.
    • Approve minor maintenance work and forward to appropriate site area to work.
    • Establish initial priorities, ensuring priority 5 and 6 work notifications are made and entering required information into appropriate databases.
    • Perform Customer Service communication with requesters regarding work requests to ensure transparency in development and execution of work.
    • Process work orders and review completed work orders for completeness and compliance with company procedures.
    • Enter appropriate information from completed work orders into the appropriate database, e.g., preventive maintenance records.
    • Ensure feedback and continuous improvement suggestions are resolved and incorporated as necessary.
    • Work with all levels of personnel and management.
    • Position works closely with schedulers, planners, and execution groups to ensure work control process flows smoothly.
