MSTS is a limited liability company consisting of Honeywell International Inc. (Honeywell), Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (Jacobs), and HII Nuclear Inc.


The work location is at the Nevada National Security Site (located 65 miles northwest of Las Vegas, Nevada).


Reports to the Program Planning and Controls organization, but will be matrixed to the Work Management Center Manager in the Nuclear Asset Operations (NAO) Directorate at the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) as an Integrated Scheduler. Responsible for developing activity execution schedules that integrate, deconflict, resource load all operations, construction, and maintenance activities at the assigned facility.

  • Gathers requisite data from available sources and performs initial schedule load.
  • Validates work execution estimates against previously performed similar scopes of work. 
  • Monitors work preparation progress and available manpower and adjusts draft schedules accordingly.
  • Evaluates work status, facility changes, and emergent work for the impact on approved implemented schedules.
  • Develops recommended changes to maximize work and project support efficiency.
  • Participates in post-execution critiques to aid in continuous improvement of the process.
  • Supports the development and execution of project and functional planning. 
  • Develops, maintains, and monitors performance baselines, including the change control process.
  • May serve as an assistant to a Project Manager.
  • Performs other work as directed by supervisor.


Due to the nature of our work, US Citizenship is required for all positions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and at least 5 years of professional level experience or equivalent training and experience.
  • Computer skills related to the use of Primavera Project Planner (P6) scheduling software, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems and common spreadsheets, word processing, and database software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Must possess strong analytic skills - manipulate large amounts of data with minimal errors. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with managers of other project functional groups - Operations, Engineering, Construction, and Project Management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to create and maintain highest levels of confidentiality when dealing with proprietary information and sensitive situations.
  • Pre-placement physical examination, which includes a drug screen, is required. MSTS maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random testing.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

Department of Energy Q Clearance (position will be cleared to this level). Reviews and tests for the absence of any illegal drug as defined in 10 CFR Part 707.4, “Workplace Substance Abuse Programs at DOE Sites,” will be conducted. Applicant selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation, and subsequent reinvestigations, and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified matter. Successful completion of a counterintelligence evaluation, which may include a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination, may also be required. Reference 10 CFR Part 709, “Counterintelligence Evaluation Program."


Eligibility Requirements - To obtain a clearance, an individual must be a U.S. citizen at least 18 years of age. Reference DOE Order 472.2, “Personnel Security.”
