The Program Manager for Multi Weapon Systems (MWS) represents NNSS contributions to stockpile sustainment in support of surveillance and product realization efforts at recurring program reviews and regular data calls. These deliverables justify and align NNSS scope with FYNSP and FY funding allocations with the objective to provide value add recurring growth for NNSS. Curriculum Development / Enterprise Mission Essential Task List (EMETL) Specialist is the primary consultant and subject matter expert in the Instructional Systems Design (ISD) process for Protective Force Operations at NNSS. This position analyzes specified safeguards and security jobs, tasks, functions, security posts, processes, and equipment and designs training programs based on these analyses.This position must be capable of managing all phases of the instructional system design process to include ADDIE and other relevant instruction models. The primary role of Work Planners is to develop Activity Level Work Documents (ALWDs) (i.e., work packages), and associated documentation, for the safe execution of work for the Construction, Maintenance, and Services organizations. ALWD development includes facilitating walkdowns and tabletop discussions, development of high-quality and complete job plans and work packages, ensure institutional work management process are being followed and systems being used consistently, facilitate work package review and approvals, and administer the work package completion and closure process. Roles do not include preparation of engineering drawings, development of technical operating procedures, performance of pre-job or post-job briefings, or execution of the scope of work in the work package. This position will report to the Facility Manager at the Andrews site office within Mission Support and Test Services, LLC (MSTS). The selected candidate will be responsible for the following: | - Assist with all facility-related projects involving electrical, plumbing, environmental, safety and health, and select Heating, Venting and Cooling System (HVAC) duties. | - Participate in planning, staffing activities, scheduling projects, and deliverable tracking. | - Assist with vendor research and selection for specialized jobs and projects. | - Monitor project schedules and engage with customers to ensure job accuracy, completion, and timeliness. | - Provide status updates to Facility Manager, colleagues, and RSL management. | - Identify electrical wires by color; read and interpret blueprints/technical diagrams. | - Install and maintain wiring and lighting systems. | - Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers. | - Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices. | - Repair and/or replace defective wiring or fixtures using hand and power tools. | - Coordinate project assignments among engineering, construction, specialty staff groups, clients, and vendors.
