  • Qualifications

    Due to the nature of our work, US Citizenship is required for all positions.

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or related field and at least 2 years’ professional level experience, which has provided practical knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data, preferably in a government contractor environment, or equivalent training and experience.
    • Pre-placement physical examination, which includes a drug screen, is required. MSTS maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing.
    • Demonstrated computer skills with software applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Exhibit strong customer service skills with vendors and internal and external customers

    Responsibilities

    Perform accounting activities associated with vendor and employee payments.  Match vendor invoices to purchase orders and reimburse employee expenses in accordance with government regulations.  Perform data analysis and account reconciliations in Oracle eBusiness Financial Systems.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Expedite vendor payments to include coordination with vendors, Project Controls, Procurement, and Subcontract Technical Representatives
    • Process purchase order and non-purchase order invoices, performing two-way and three-way matches
    • Perform account reconciliations and analysis
    • Prepare reports and assist with metric data gathering and analysis
    • Ensure W9s are received from all vendors
    • Prepare Electronic Fund Transfers (EFTs) and check disbursement batches
    • Import data files to generate automated disbursement batches
    • Perform issue resolution through data analysis and customer interface
    • Accept individual responsibility and accountability for environment, safety, health, and quality processes within personal control, personal safety, and the safety of co-workers.
    • Comply with established regulations and procedures for environment, safety, health, and quality and perform duties in a way that will not cause personal danger, endanger other individuals, or violate environment, safety, health, and quality regulations.
    • Promptly correct or report any hazard or potential hazard to supervision. Understand the principles associated with the Mission Support & Test Services, LLC (MSTS) safety concept. Participate in and embrace MSTS environment, safety, health, and quality initiatives.
