    MSTS is a limited liability company consisting of Honeywell International Inc. (Honeywell), Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (Jacobs), and HII Nuclear Inc.


    Serve as the Device Assembly Facility (DAF) Operations Support Coordinator (Senior Nuclear Facilities Operations Specialist) to coordinate and complete critical support activities at the DAF. As an integral part of our DAF team, you will collaborate with external and internal partners to attain desired success states and sustain successful operations


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Reports to the DAF Operations Support Manager, and will support the Nuclear Operations Manager, Operations Supervisors and Facility Supervisors.
    • Requires the ability to complete multiple tasks within compressed and demanding timeframes.
    • Track critical surveillance and in-service inspection due dates.
    • Generate documentation related to Surveillance and In-Service Inspections.
    • Ensure facility documents are routed to the records department for proper archiving.
    • Order essential items utilizing Oracle or a Government Purchase Card.
    • Coordinate maintenance and repairs for vehicles assigned to the DAF organization.
    • Serve as the point of contact for all facility tours.
    • Become qualified as a custodian for classified materials.
    • Participate and lead process improvement groups.
    • Assist DAF Operations Supervisors in resolving issues that can affect the operations performed by the National Weapons Laboratories.
    • Perform monthly walk downs with assigned safety professionals to identify issues that could potential impact worker safety.
    • Assist personnel with the scheduling of training in order to ensure qualifications are maintained.
    • Request and track all items related to assigned DAF Information Technology Systems (computers, video teleconference equipment, and classified computing systems).
    • Assist Nuclear Operations Manager in conducting the Plan of the Day meeting.
    • Participate and provide support to the weekly Execution Working Group meeting. Identify support items for all participants and ensure completion of all tasks.


    Due to the nature of our work, US Citizenship is required for all positions.

    • Bachelor's degree in field related or equivalent training and experience, plus at least 5 years of relevant, progressively responsible experience which includes 2 years' experience in Nuclear Operations, Nuclear Maintenance or Nuclear Facility Support such as those found at a DOE Nuclear Facility, commercial power plant or US Navy Nuclear Propulsion Program.
    • Eligibility Requirements - To obtain a Q clearance, an individual must be a U.S. citizen at least 18 years of age. Reference DOE Order 472.2, "Personnel Security.
    • Pre-placement physical examination, which includes a drug screen, is required. MSTS maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing.
    • Experience in administrative support functions with progressive experience is highly desired.
    • Experience with the Maximo Computerized Maintenance Management System highly desired.
    • Current Q Clearance and Human Reliability Program certification highly desired.
    • Related experience must be in maintenance/engineering support, radiation protection, safety, nuclear training and qualification management, conduct of operations, nuclear operations, nuclear safety, and/or criticality safety.
    • Pre-placement physical examination, which includes a drug screen, is required. MSTS maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing.
    • Must have a valid driver’s license.

    Department of Energy Q Clearance (position will be cleared to this level). Reviews and tests for the absence of any illegal drug as defined in 10 CFR Part 707.4, “Workplace Substance Abuse Programs at DOE Sites,” will be conducted.  Applicant selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation, and subsequent reinvestigations, and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified matter. Successful completion of a counterintelligence evaluation, which may include a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination, may also be required. Reference 10 CFR Part 709, “Counterintelligence Evaluation Program.
