  • Qualifications

    Due to the nature of our work, US Citizenship is required for all positions.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field and at least 12 years' of professional level experience, or equivalent training and experience.
    • Able to organize and understand large, complex data sets and derive key performance indicators from the data to support business decisions.
    • Able to utilize independent judgment, creativity, and initiative to resolve problems and ensure that requirements are completed efficiently, on time, and are cost-effective.
    • Able to prioritize and schedule multiple activities.
    • Able to communicate with all types of people in a tactful, professional, and effective manner.
    • Able to understand and remember complex data, procedures, terminology, schedules, and other details.
    • Pre-placement physical examination, which includes a drug screen, is required. MSTS maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing.
    • Must have a valid driver's license.
    • Department of Energy Q Clearance (position will be cleared to this level). Reviews and tests for the absence of any illegal drug as defined in 10 CFR Part 707.4, “Workplace Substance Abuse Programs at DOE Sites,” will be conducted.  Applicant selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation, and subsequent reinvestigations, and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified matter. Successful completion of a counterintelligence evaluation, which may include a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination, may also be required. Reference 10 CFR Part 709, “Counterintelligence Evaluation Program.” Eligibility Requirements – To obtain a clearance, an individual must be a U.S. citizen at least 18 years of age. Reference DOE Order 472.2, “Personnel Security.”

    Responsibilities

    Play a key role in enterprise-level demand, capacity, and utilization planning and analysis, focusing on internal labor resources. Leverage your analytical skills and creativity as you develop and implement processes that will inform decision making within project teams and senior leadership.

    • Gathering, organizing, and modeling data for enterprise planning and performance, focusing on enterprise-level resource requirements and impacts on short- and long-term business strategies.
    • Understanding business systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, COBRA, Oracle), their interactions, and leveraging the available data fields to develop innovative business solutions and provide insightful analysis of enterprise data.
    • Analyzing and monitoring integrated financial plans for the enterprise (Full Funding, Spend Plan, Plan Value and Estimate at Completion) by element of cost.
    • Analyzing and monitoring alignment of portfolio resource demand in year of execution and forecasted out-year periods.
    • Preparing regular and special presentations relating to enterprise resources.
    • Supporting business case development, reviews information requests, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
    • Delivering additional Program Integration initiatives, as appropriate.
