  • Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in a computer related field or equivalent computer related experience with at least 5 years of relevant, progressively responsible experience.
      • 3+ years of working experience on Oracle Database (10, 11g, 12c) preferred
      • 3+ years of experience providing production system support for Oracle Bl preferred
      • 3+ years of working experience administering WebLogic server, Fusion MiddleWare, and OHS preferred
      • 3+ years of experience and administrating a data warehouse preferred
    • Well-versed with Linux.
    • Experience with researching and resolving security vulnerabilities in OBIEE and WebLogic. 
    • Experience with remediatiing SSL vulnerabilities.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory (MSAD); experience interfacing it with OBIEE
    • Strong understanding of various Linux and Windows platforms.
    • Strong understanding of secure SSL certificates and security standards.
    • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to plan and prioritize work and meet project deadlines.
    • Must be self-motivated and work well with other groups.
    • Ability to operate on a 24x7 on-call basis when needed.
    • Strong knowledge of SQL scripting.
    • Experience with BIPublisher data models and reports.
    • Experience with using OBIEE tools, roles, and groups to control user access to data.
    • Experience with Star Schema design in the data warehouse and implementation in the OBIEE repository.
    • Excellent oral and written communications, with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.
    • Ability to work with large databases.
    • Possess ability to apply broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Knowledge of industry changes, legal updates, and technical developments related to applicable area of the Company's business.
    • Proactively respond to changing business environment.
    • Intermediate proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).

    • The successful candidate will support our Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) and Integrated Business Information Delivery System (IBIDS) data warehouse running in an Oracle RDBMS RedHat/Linux and Windows environment.
    • Responsibilities include managing and supporting the following functions:
      • migration of development projects into production and test environments
      • refreshing non-production environments
      • performance tuning, troubleshooting
      • on-going maintenance
      • resolving system issues
      • maintaining security
      • access control
      • applying patches and upgrades
      • designing and implementing system changes
    • As a Senior OBIEE/IBIDS Administrator will provide technical expertise to users and developers in resolving system problems and in designing computing solutions. 
    • Ensure compliance with Cyber Security regulations and provide written documentation of applied fixes, objects migrated into production changes made to OBIEE/IBIDS, and problem solutions.
    • Interface with Database Administrators, other technical team members, and functional users.
    • Design and install patches and fixes for OBIEE/IBIDS and WebLogic for the development, test, and production environments.
    • Support and coordinate implementation of major technical projects such as system upgrades of OBIEE, IBIDS and WebLogic.
    • Configure and maintain all OBIEE, IBIDS, and WebLogic production, test, and development environments and instances.
    • Install, configure, and maintain WebLogic, Fusion MiddleWare, and related software such as Oracle HTTPS Server (OHS). 
    • Download and apply Oracle one-off and recurring patches. 
    • Initiate and follow-up on service requests with Oracle to resolves issues.
    • Perform project migration to Production and test systems.
    • Provide technical expertise to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve environment related issues for OBIEE, IBIDS, and WebLogic.
    • Perform perfomance tuning and proactive monitoring of OBIEE, IBIDS, and WebLogic.
    • Ensure security of the Production system and supporting environments.
    • Document and communicate project activities to the manager on a regular basis.
    • Provide technical support to IT and functional users for OBIEE, IBIDS, and WebLogic.
    • Troubleshoot development and production application problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
    • Create disaster recovery plans; lead disaster recovery exercises for IBIDS and OBIEE.
    • Develop and mentor other team members to provide backup for IBIDS, OBIEE, and WebLogic Administrator duties.
    • Establish system specifications by conferring with users, analyzing workflow, access, formation, and security requirements, designing system infrastructure.
    • Establish OBIEE system by planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of PC and server hardware, software, LAN and WAN networks, and operating and system management systems, defining system and operational policies and procedures.
    • Secure OBIEE system by developing system access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; establishing and testing disaster recovery policies and procedures; maintaining documentation.
    • Prepare users by designing and conducting training programs, providing references, training aids, and support in all facets of OBIEE use.
    • Maintain extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes for IBIDS using Oracle PL/SQL.
    • Add new OBIEE data sources such as SWL Server databases and Excel spreadsheets.
    • Upgrade system by conferring with vendors and services; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements and new software.
    • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
