  • Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in related field and at least 5 years of professional level experience or equivalent training and experience.
    • Computer skills with software with software applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and skills to input and retrieve data from Oracle systems.
    • Experience and proficiency with property management, procurement, excess disposal or inventory systems.
    • Experience with scheduling and customer service in a dynamic environment.
    • Experience with supervising bargaining and non-bargaining personnel
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate in a professional positive manner with all levels of employees and management during very busy and frequent stressful situations.
    • Must be able to work independently and without direct supervision to execute and monitor work assignments and meet established deadlines
    • Ability to use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with policies, procedures, government laws, rules, and regulations, or standards
    • Ability to execute work, problem solve, monitor performance of staff and meet established deadlines.
    • Ability to work outside in the harsh NNSS environment
    • Must possess an appropriate valid driver’s license

    Pre-placement physical examination, which includes a drug screen, is required. MSTS maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing.

    • Manage Quality Grade (QG) staging area for material to include requisition, receipt and issue, storage, and inventory control.
    • Issue material to work packages and update Quality Management System (QMTS) and Maximo records to ensure traceability of material is captured.
    • Participates in work planning and schedules with Project Managers.
    • Provide shipping, property, and material management support the National Laboratories and work-for-other customers
    • Perform Property Control and Warehouse Operation functions for property and material management
    • Process excess material for disposal
    • Provides guidance and work direction to bargaining employees on daily tasks to include weekly time processing
    • Prepare shipping certification paperwork and coordinate vendor pickups
    • Schedule customer deliveries to include badging and site access
    • Prepare reports, procedures and deliverables for management
    • Monitor monthly production metrics and continuous improvement initiatives
    • Participate in Department work planning and scheduling.
    • Perform Field Material Coordinator (FMC) responsibilities at the Nevada National Security Site for various projects.
    • Process procurement requests in Oracle database to buy material for Category 1 and 2 Facilities along with general service items
    • Perform related work as assigned by manager.
