  • Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in a computer related field and 2 years' progressive related experience, or equivalent training and experience.
    • Strong knowledge of information systems concepts, strategies and methodologies.
    • Must be familiar with industry standard business analyst concepts.
    • Must be detail-oriented.
    • Must have strong analytical skills.
    • Good technical trouble shooting skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
    • Strong negotiation, facilitation, consensus building, and scope management skills.
    • Must possess critical thinking and problem-solving proficiency.
    • Must perform well under pressure.
    • Proven ability to meet time commitments and deadlines.
    • Must be proactive, self-motivated, able to work independently, and objective.
    • Must be able to be flexible enough when facing shifting priorities.
    • Must have the ability to elicit and manage stakeholders’ requirements.
    • Ability to use software including strong skills and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Ability to work in a dynamic, time constrained environment, and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Pre-placement physical examination, which includes a drug screen, is required. MSTS maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing.

    • Helping business stakeholders envision the future and how their work will need to change to support the future.
    • Identify current and future state of business processes and perform gap analysis.
    • Ability to create, analyze, and validate detailed functional specifications.
    • Understand and incorporate needs of multiple stakeholders.
    • Translate business needs into requirements and document.
    • May perform knowledge transfer and train less knowledgeable resources on business analysis, requirements definition, requirements gathering, requirements traceability, and gap analysis.
    • Assist customer with change management associated with process change.
    • Develop requirements traceability matrix.
    • Ability to multitask and work on multiple initiatives concurrently.
    • Ability to function at both a strategic and tactical level.
    • Responsible for building quality into the processes associated with business analysis.
    • Assist with development of user acceptance test plans and use cases.
    • Assist in the design, documentation, and maintenance of system processes.
    • As required, write all required documentation in a clear, concise manner.
    • Work with the test team to make sure the tests adequately cover the requirements.
