MSTS is seeking a full-time Board Certified Occupational Medicine physician to serve as the Medical Director. This position will report directly to the Director of Environmental, Safety, and Health and is responsible for the health management of the Nevada Enterprise (NvE) workforce. The Medical Director will establish and maintain a solid reputation for clinical excellence, compassionate care, and provide treatment to a diverse clientele. The Medical Director will foster new, and enhance existing, client relationships in an effort to maintain the high standards of the current organization through the development and imlementation of new programs, policies, and services. Work location will rotate between the Nevada National Security Site and North Las Vegas clinics. This position will provide clinical duties as assigned including but not limited to:
In addition, this position is responsible for medical aspects of the Human Reliability Program (HRP) as defined in 10 CFR Part 712 and functions as the Designated Physician and Physical Protection Medical Director (PPMD) for 10 CFR 1046. As the Site Occupational Medical Director, ensure the clinical aspects of the site medical program meet the requirements as outlined in 10 CFR 851, 707 and associated Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations as applicable to medical and safety requirements.
