  • Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in a field related to the position and a minimum of 11 years' of related and progressively responsible experience, or equivalent training experience. 
    • Experience in supporting ERP solutions is highly desirable.

    The Enterprise Business Applications (ERP) Manager will lead a team responsible for extending, supporting and managing the current implementation of two major ERP solutions: PeopleSoft and Oracle e-Business Suite (EBS) products and interfacing applications.  There will be other business applications that the ERP Manager will be responsible for.  

    • The current Oracle e-Business Suite (EBS) solution is heavily customized and made up of Oracle Financials, Projects, Oracle Procurement, and the i-Procurement module.  
    • The financial modules include General Ledger, Project Costing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, and i-Expense.  
    • Several other initiatives being planned and worked to extend the footprint of our current environments including: Oracle Procurement Services, Oracle i-Supplier, Oracle Procurement Contracts, PeopleSoft e-Performance and PeopleSoft e-Compensation. 
    • The current PeopleSoft solution is heavily customized and includes PeopleSoft HRMS, Payroll, and Time and Labor. 
    • PeopleSoft interfaces to iCims, for recruitment functionality. 
    • The successful candidate must be able to lead experienced IT professionals by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. 
    • Must have knowledge of the Software Life Cycle and ensure team is performing work in alignment with the life cycle policies. 
    • Supervises employees and performs other managerial responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, mentoring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
    • Accountable for the quality of work performed by your team. 
    • Respond to employee questions, concerns, and issues or elevate as appropriate. 
    • Take immediate action to correct reported or observed unacceptable safety and health conditions and/or behaviors. 
    • Candidate must be able to develop and follow policies, procedures, and productivity standards. 
    • Must be able to effectively and efficiently utilize resources to optimize performance including managing a remote workforce. 
    • Strong leadership and project management skills are required to appropriately prioritize resource assignments and de-conflict the tasks of multiple requests being approved and worked simultaneously. 
    • Responsible for defining operational goals, priorities, budgets and monitoring performance against defined metrics. 
    • Enforce standards, change management processes, configuration management processes and other company policies to obtain a high quality of customer service. 
    • Encourage and facilitate both internal and external teamwork of assigned personnel. 
    • Data confidentiality, availability and integrity are absolute requirements.
    • Collaborate with other IT disciplines and functional managers to accomplish company objectives and achieve department goals. 
    • Must be innovative and willing to lead technical efforts and also work with functional team members and managers to implement and maintain required system functionality. 
    • System functionality must align with business and mission goals of gaining efficiency while ensuring business processes continue to function smoothly and accurately. 
    • Telecommuting or teleworking will not be a possibility for this position.
