MSTS is a limited liability company consisting of Honeywell International Inc. (Honeywell), Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (Jacobs), and Stoller Newport News Nuclear, Inc. (SN3).

 

Qualifications

  • Completion of the first year and current enrollment in an engineering degree program accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET)*. The declared degree should be in an Engineering or Mathematics field and pertain to the organizational unit to which the individual will be assigned.
  • GPA standing and course work accomplished will be considered in the selection process
  • Technical job/hobby/volunteer experience will be considered
  • Must upload current transcripts along with resume to MSTS Career Portal at https://careers-msts.icims.com
  • Strong computer skills are desired, including MS Office
  • Must be available to interview on April 10, 2018

 

*Software Engineering program does not require ABET accreditation.

Responsibilities

THIS IS A PIPELINE REQUISITION TO IDENTIFY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES FOR SUMMER INTERNSHIPS

 

Summer engineering interns will work under the direct supervision of a technical mentor and will be provided with hands-on participation in ongoing projects at one of the most unique experimental sites in the United States. Many student interns return each summer and others work for us part-time year-round while they attend local schools. We are looking for qualified and motivated students in:

  • Electrical Engineering
  • Nuclear Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Fire Protection Engineering
  • Software Engineering (does not require ABET)

  • January 28, 2018 - Application process opens
  • March 2, 2018 - Submission of updated transcripts for continuing and returning students deadline
  • March 15, 2018 - Application submission deadline
  • April 16 - 19, 2018 - Offer letters sent
  • April 24, 2018 - Candidate response deadline
  • May 14, 2018 - Start date (flexible)
