MSTS is a limited liability company consisting of Honeywell International Inc. (Honeywell), Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (Jacobs), and Stoller Newport News Nuclear, Inc. (SN3).



  • Bachelor’s degree in a Technical related field and 2 years' of professional level experience, or equivalent training and experience. 
  • Experience with nuclear quality related standards and policies, is desirable.
  • Ability to exercise high degree of accuracy required in writing technical documents and ensuring all Company policies and procedures are followed.
  • Must possess independent judgment, creativity, initiative, and ability to apply knowledge and experience to resolve problems, compose correspondence and technical reports, and accomplish goals where established procedures may not be specific.

Department of Energy Q Clearance (position will be cleared to this level). Reviews and tests for the absence of any illegal drug as defined in 10 CFR Part 707.4, “Workplace Substance Abuse Programs at DOE Sites,” will be conducted.  Applicant selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation, and subsequent reinvestigations, and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified matter. Successful completion of a counterintelligence evaluation, which may include a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination, may also be required. Reference 10 CFR Part 709, “Counterintelligence Evaluation Program.”


Eligibility Requirements – To obtain a clearance, an individual must be a U.S. citizen at least 18 years of age. Reference DOE Order 472.2, “Personnel Security.”

  • Provide support for the continuing maintenance of the company’s Quality Assurance (QA) Program and Training Program Development Plan.
  • Duties will include supporting procurement activities to include requisition and purchase order quality reviews; supplier evaluation; maintenance of the Master Approved Suppliers List (MASL); reviews of supplier QA programs; commercial grade surveys; supplier audits; quality receiving; and development of quality strategies.
  • Develop and present training on quality topics.
  • Participate on design review teams, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, alternatives analysis, or design walk downs.
  • Develop and review quality related documents or procedures. Perform oversight of material storage areas and material control operations.
  • Provide occasional support to the inspection and calibration organizations operational activities.
  • Perform oversight of the test program as part of post maintenance or modification testing. Support management of nonconforming items from identification to closure.
  • Occasional travel (30%) to the Nevada Nuclear Security Site facilities to support project or operational activities and (20%) to supplier facilities to support project or operational evaluations of suppliers.
